Sitting at the wilder side of the craft-beer spectrum, sour beers are complex, sophisticated refreshers ideal for slow sipping, with so many things in common with minimal intervention wines that the distinction between the two can seem blurry at times.
From sourcing of ingredients such as grapes, to the use of wild yeasts and long, spontaneous fermentations, sour beer just like wine comes in many different styles and flavour combinations. Among these, think heady botanicals, tropical notes and earthy tones that work so well alongside food.
This June, join us for an intimate dinner in the private dining room La Cachette to celebrate our monthly theme, sour beer, with a selection of inspiring examples from the top brewmasters, alongside a menu by our chef Seb Myers.
