Biodynamics, a farming philosophy once embraced by a handful of winemakers in France, is today a widespread and influential method of making wine adopted by growers across the globe.
Its practices are rooted in a holistic view of agriculture promoted by Rudolf Steiner. According to this approach everything is interconnected, and all phases of the wine making process follow a calendar regulated by lunar and planetary cycles. This method promotes also soil health and encourages ecosystems biodiversity by farming organically and avoiding the use of synthetic chemicals.
For this dinner we have selected some exceptional cuvées by growers across France and Italy, including some of biodynamics earliest proponents such as Coulée de Serrant and Ferme de la Sansonnière.
Join our founder Jonathan for an intimate dinner in the dining room La Cachette to delve into the world of biodynamic wine, alongside a special menu by our chef Seb Myers.
Please note that we cannot accommodate for dietaries during these dinners.
