That day marks one year since the opening of Planque and we are celebrating the event with a bubble-filled dinner dedicated to the grower champagnes of Domaine Jacques Selosse.
Run by father and son duo Anselme and Guillaume Selosse, Domaine Jacques Selosse in the Côtes de Blancs, encompasses over 8 hectares of vines, predominantly cultivated with Chardonnay, in the villages of Avize, Cramant, Oger, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Ay, Mareuil-sur-Ay and Ambonnay.
Aware of the role healthy soils play on the quality of the grapes, Selosse has developed a unique way of working in the vineyard. This approach, steering away from rigid practices, relies on the ability to listen to the vines and understand the specific needs of each plot.
In the cellar the intervention is minimal, involving indigenous yeasts, no malolactic fermentations and very low dosages. A combination of late harvests, oak barrel ageing and, in some cases, the use of the solera method, lend decadent and complex wines that resemble no others in Champagne.
Join us for a dinner celebrating an extraordinary domaine and their most iconic cuvées, alongside a very special menu by our chef, Seb Myers.
