Today more than ever winemakers are choosing to farm their vineyards according Rudolf Steiner’s principles of biodynamics.
From planting to bottling, biodynamic practices cover all aspects of winemaking. These holistic methods include using special preparations to treat the soil and consulting a lunar calendar to guide work in the vineyard and cellar.
French winemakers were among the earliest adopters of this philosophy and in this selection we have included cuvées from different regions, with a brief detour to Switzerland, to compare the impact of biodynamic practices on wines from different terroirs.
Join our head sommelier James Lewis in the dining room La Cachette to discover the work of these influential growers, alongside snacks from the kitchen.
