Chateau Champenois have been put back on the map since a few years by young growers eager to showcase what kind of still wine the region can produce.
Aurélien Lurquin is a master of his craft and makes some of the most beautiful wines the region has seen in a long time, including stellar Coteaux red and whites as well as rosé sometimes too.
The red one is a very light infusion of pinot (noir or meunier, from different parcels depending on the vintage) and is truly worth seeking out.
Starting from this summer our opening times are changing. From Tuesday 1st August onwards, our restaurant will be open for dinner from Tuesday to Saturday, and for lunch on Saturday as usual.
Our last day open before the holidays is Saturday 5th August. We will be back as usual from Tuesday 15th August.
